【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationestablishesthemethodofdeliveringserviceandnetworkinformationwithinaTPEGservice.TheTPEG-SNIapplicationisdesignedtoallowtheefficientandlanguageindependentdeliveryofinformationabouttheavailabilityofthesameserviceonanotherbearerchannelorsimilarservicedatafromanotherserviceprovider,directlyfromserviceprovidertoend-users.Theterm"application"isusedinTPEGspecificationstodescribespecificapplications,whichareatthehighestlayeroftheISO/OSIprotocolstack(ISO/IEC7498-1).EachTPEGapplication(e.g.TPEG-RTM)isassignedauniquenumberthatiscalledtheApplicationIDentification(AID).AnAIDisdefinedwheneveranewapplicationisdeveloped.TheAIDisusedwithintheTPEG-ServiceandNetworkInformationApplication(thisdocument)toindicatehowtoprocessTPEGcontentandallowsroutingofdatatoanappropriateapplicationdecoder.AID=0000isassignedtotheTPEG-SNIapplication,describedinthisspecification.Anumberoftablesofinformationaredescribed,whichprovidecomprehensiveoptionsfordescribingservices,theirtiming,content,geographicalcoverage,etc.InallTPEGstreamsitismandatorytodelivertoso-calledGST.Additionallyitispossibletosignallinkageofcontentbetweendifferentbearersandservices.
