【摘要】:Thisstandardcontainsrequirementsforpressuresensitiveedgesandpressuresensitivebarsforuseassafetydevicesandnotasactuatingdevicesfornormaloperational.Thestandardappliestopressuresensitiveedgesandpressuresensitivebarsusedtodetectpersonsorpartsofpersonswhomaybeexposedtodangersuchashazardousmovingparts.Thepurposeofthisstandardrelatesprimarilytosafetyandreliabilityratherthansuitability.Fortherelationshipbetweensafetyandreliability,seeannexDofEN954-1:1996.Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsforpressuresensitiveedgesandpressuresensitivebarswithandwithoutanexternalresetfacility.Thisstandardisrestrictedtothefunctioningofpressuresensitiveedgesandpressuresensitivebarsanddoesnotspecifytherequirementsfortheirapplication.However,clause6containsrequirementsforinformationforusewhichhastobeprovidedbythemanufacturer.AselectionprocedureisgiveninannexC.ThedesignnotesinannexDgiveadditionalguidanceregardingthedesignofpressuresensitiveedgesandpressuresensitivebarswhichwillgivesafeandreliableservice.ThenotesinannexEprovidegeneralguidanceregardingapplication,whileannexGprovidesguidanceontheapplicationofsensors,especiallyforair-pulsesystems.Thisstandarddoesnotspecifythedimensionsofthepressuresensitiveedgesorbarsinrelationtoaparticularapplication.ThestandarddoesnotapplytostoppingdevicesaccordingtoEN60204-1usedonlyfornormaloperational,includingemergencystopping,ofmachinery.Additionalrequirementsmaybenecessarywherepressuresensitiveedgesandpressuresensitivebarsareusedinlocationsaccessibletoelderlyordisabledpeopleorchildren.NOTEItmaynotbepossibletocarryoutallthetestsinthisstandardforpressuresensitiveedgesandpressuresensitivebarswhentheyhavebeendesignedandbuiltintothemachinerybyitsmanufacturer.
